The Burke Foundation and the New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (NJAAP) invite you to join us as a sponsor or exhibitor for the state’s inaugural First 1,000 Days Summit — a gathering designed to inform, inspire, and motivate action to help children during their most important stage of development for promoting lifelong health and wellbeing.

Our aspiration for the First 1,000 Days Summit is to:
Strengthen the collective commitment to making New Jersey the safest, most equitable place to have and raise a baby through aligned
healthcare, policy, and community efforts.
Advocate for early investment by highlighting the impact of the first 1,000 days and promoting policies that deliver strong societal returns.
Strengthen networks and collaboration by facilitating connections among practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to advance early
childhood well-being.
Advance relationship-centered care by showcasing and integrating evidence-based innovations that improve child and family health
within the healthcare community.
Recognize leadership and progress by honoring state leaders working to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in New Jersey.
We anticipate a cross-section of more than 250 people with a common interest on behalf of New Jersey children will attend, including:
Community-based and healthcare providers serving pregnant women and families with young children
Parent advocates and families who benefit from services that focus on the first 1,000 days
Representatives of the Office of the New Jersey First Lady, Maternal Infant Health Innovation Authority, and state departments of Health, Children and Families, and Human Services
